The challenge

Comulate needed a dimensional version of their logo for a conference they were hosting at the Four Seasons Hotel Denver, and they needed it in a week.

The logo itself was the harder part. It’s made of separate shapes that appear to float apart, and anything holding them together would compete with the design.

How we solved it

We ruled out the usual clear acrylic or polycarbonate backer. Instead, each of the three pieces got a hidden internal structure, and two metal rods slide straight through all three. No fasteners, no visible hardware. Clear vinyl sleeves on the rods stop the pieces from sliding and hold each one exactly where it belongs.
